Skiing: Quebec City Region > Stoneham

As you near Stoneham, don't be fooled. The resort is much larger than the few trails you see directly ahead. Thirty-two trails stretch across three mountains. The emphasis here is not on how big the vertical drops are (they range from 1,140 to 1,380 feet), but on how much terrain the connected mountains deliver.

Known as more of a family resort, Stoneham has terrain for everyone, from double-diamond glades to leisurely cruisers. Terrain park addicts will have met their match.Situated in a sun-filled, wind-protected valley, Quebec locals head to Stoneham when the temperatures drop or the wind is howling. Sixty percent of the mountain is open for night skiing, and that includes a lighted halfpipe and large terrain park.
